How the VORTEX Works

The VORTEX treats wastewater using an advanced activated sludge process:

Screening chamber – solids are separated using the Vibro-Screen™, allowing only biodegradable material into the system.
Aeration chamber – bacteria digest organic pollutants, supported by adjustable airflow to maintain efficiency even when the system is under-loaded.
Clarification chamber – treated water separates from sludge; floating and settled sludge is automatically recycled to support bacterial populations.

This unique combination ensures consistent, high-quality effluent while minimising maintenance and energy costs.
