Andrew Skilling was shortlisted for a Lifetime Achievement Award.
We had a great evening at the National Drainage Awards. The first of hopefully many, organised by the National Association of Drainage Contractors Group.
Andrew Skilling who started Mantair in 1987 was shortlisted for the lifetime achievement award. It was won by another very worthy nominee, but it was a real honour for Andrew to be shortlisted to recognise his dedication over the years. At 79, Andrew still has a key role at Mantair, continuing to contribute to the Industry, albeit it in a quieter capacity. Thank you Andrew. Mantair wouldn’t be here without all your hard work – it was a pleasure to celebrate your contribution last night.
It was also an honour to meet Frank Bruno. We heard all about the work he does around men’s mental health with The Frank Bruno Foundation. We came away with some signed boxing gloves & book to contribute to this worthy cause.
