Blackmore End Village Hall, a vital community hub, was facing an environmental issue due to a failing septic tank that was leaking into a nearby ditch. The village hall committee sought a reliable, eco-friendly sewage solution to prevent further issues and ensure the safety of the community.
Our Solution
Mantair was called in to assess and resolve the issue. After a thorough site survey, we recommended the installation of a 50-person Marsh Ensign sewage treatment plant. This modern system not only treats sewage effectively but also included a pumped outlet to the nearby ditch, directing treated water through a seasonal soakaway to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
To safeguard the local environment, we carefully managed the installation to minimise disruption. Our team worked closely with the village hall committee to plan the works during the hall’s closure, ensuring that the playground remained operational by installing secure fencing around the site.
The Results
